What is Duphaston 10mg?
Duphaston 10mg tablets contain dydrogesterone — a synthetic hormone that works like the natural progesterone your body makes. It is used when the body does not produce enough progesterone on its own — causing problems with the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, or the uterus (بچہ دانی). Duphaston must only be used under a doctor's prescription and supervision.
What is Duphaston 10mg Used For?
- Irregular or Painful Periods — regulates the menstrual cycle and relieves period pain (ماہواری کی بے قاعدگی یا درد)
- Absent Periods (Amenorrhea) — helps restart the menstrual cycle when periods have stopped
- Endometriosis — reduces pain caused by uterine lining tissue growing outside the uterus
- Threatened or Habitual Miscarriage — supports the uterus lining during early pregnancy to reduce miscarriage risk (حمل کے دوران تحفظ)
- Infertility (Luteal Insufficiency) — used during IVF and assisted reproduction to support implantation
- Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding — controls abnormal or heavy uterine bleeding

How Does Duphaston Work?
Dydrogesterone acts on the uterus lining (endometrium) in the same way as natural progesterone — preparing and maintaining it for pregnancy, regulating the menstrual cycle, and protecting against abnormal cell growth.
Dosage
